New Langton Arts, San Francisco, 1992. Nine framed gelatin-silver prints hung on the upholstered latex walls, floor, and ceiling of a 4'x 8'x 8' self-standing constructed room. A pungent odor, predominantly from the latex, adds to the viewer’s experience of being surrounded latex skin, to confront desire, hopes, and personal myth in the new age of sex, blood tests, political events, education, and trust.
